A lovely tour for those interested in local history. The tour takes place through the beautiful forest area in Hammer Bakker, where passengers sit comfortably in the tour wagon behind Nymarksmindes’ tractor.

You may have hiked many of the beautiful hiking trails in Hammer Bakker, or perhaps you’ve experienced the terrain from a mountain bike. Right now, Nymarksminde offers a unique way to explore the local area—from a tractor!
Are you familiar with Attorney A. Olesen and his influence on the development of Hammer Bakker? Or did you know that there’s a large “sucking tree” in the forest? Join us on this exciting nature tour and explore the scenic Hammer Bakker routes. You’ll learn about how Hammer Bakker came to be and why the hills look the way they do today. We’ll pass by Vodskov Church, visit the twin hills, hear about the “madhouse” that became the School in Hammer Bakker, and much, much more. There’s something for all history enthusiasts—both young and old.
Prices and timetable
Join a guided tour of Hammer Bakker. Departure is from Nymarksmindes parking lot at Vestvej 91, 9310 Vodskov.
Duration: approximately 1 hour, and there will be exciting stories throughout the tour.

Children under 2 years old are free. The stroller is wheelchair friendly.

It is not possible to bring a dog on the trip.

The tour runs every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday + holidays, and every day during summer vacation / autumn vacation at 10:30.
BEYOND OPENING HOURS / RENTAL OF THE WHOLE CARRIAGE
When renting the entire carriage, there is space for 28 people (price: 1950 DKK). Additionally, there are flexible departure times available. For example, we can operate the trip on weekdays.

There is also the possibility of longer events with space for 14 people. Perfect for company events, staff parties, or birthday parties.
Here, we take the Hammer Bakker tour, followed by a 3-course menu with wine and a beautiful view of the lake at Nymarksminde. The entire carriage is rented with a driver / chef. This is a 4-hour event. There is room for up to 14 people. The tour departs from Nymarksminde’s parking lot at 5 PM on the agreed date.
